"Adulting" is difficult galore; with full time work, mundane routines, and living check to check... come with me on some of my travels in the PNW and recently overseas.
A little about me...I am originally from deep south of Texas but my family moved us to Washington state when I was ten years old. That didn't stop us from traveling on a yearly basis from Washington to Texas; we'd cross through Oregon, Idaho, Utah, New Mexico. I just loved seeing all the different terrain, colorful landscapes, experiencing cultural foods, and mingling with a diverse people. I grew to love traveling at such a young age and favorite places were in Moab & Salt Lake City, Utah; Albuquerque, & Roswell, New Mexico, and beautiful State of Texas. I fell in love with Utah with its mesmerizing colorful land with red sands and beautiful rock formations...I think this is where I had the interest of 4wheeling with all the jeeps roaming around the town of Moab. Salt Lake City always looked so shinny and magical; we never stopped but I really loved the smell of the air and view of the massive city. Then we'd make our stop at the Hole in the Rock (not sure in what order) and I thought this was such an awesome place to actually live! Maybe that's why I constantly look for brick houses?! Then passing through New Mexico, the people were always nice and friendly; I loved the pueblo style houses...again with the earthen style homes! Next stop? Ha, can't forget Roswell! This place was so cool to visit with every store selling UFO Alien merchandise..."I Want to Believe". Then my home state of Texas, just entering the state of Texas you see the massive sign "Texas State Line" or I remember feeling prideful when I read, "Don't Mess with Texas", such nostalgia. Those are places that stuck on my mind and I would so love to return as an adult.
I haven't had the chance to visit these places as an adult but what I have done is visit oversees to Istanbul Turkey; see videos on my Youtube channel at EZ C Productions! Want to read about my visit to Istanbul? Scroll down for more...

Speelyi beach
Speelyi Beach is within driving distance from Yakima, WA and this place is my favorite places close to home. Speelyi Beach is a natural and beautiful playground located near Cle Elum Lake, located in Roslyn, WA. This area is great place to stop for a quick view of PNW. In the summer months, when the water has receded, you can swim and enjoy a nice day in the sun. Many local rentals provide a water jet ski and boat rental or party boats. This area is known for hiking trails, cycling trails, and UTV/ATV trails. If you love to fish, try your luck catching lake trout, kokanee or rainbow trout.
I had previously asked my geologist Bill how he thought this place was made, it is so beautiful with sand instead of rocks! He told me to imagine ice glaciers in between these mountains that melted and encapsulated in this area to create the massive water form. Just Amazing! This is fresh mountain water and I tell ya, it is a huge park and quite beautiful.
I love to visit this place anytime of the year, the images below are taken in Feb of 2018.

Istanbul Turkey

I had the opportunity to fly on a plane for the first time ever! I cannot believe I waited this long to ever get on a plane, it is an amazing experience! If you haven't yet, please do so, you will not regret it. The thought of being in this massive vessel flying through the air, just amazing! Yes, at first I was so nervous and had my partner with me...I grabbed onto him. He assured me that flying is the safest form of travel.
Okay, so we visited Istanbul and Zonguldak Turkey. I have to say Turkey is such a beautiful country. I stayed in Istanbul near a very nice hookah park that was within walking distance. I was near the Fatih Beldediyesi strip which was walking distance to many shopping centers including the historical Kapalı Çarşı Grand Bazaar which was built in 1461! It was such a beautiful place with about 4000 shops of carpets, gold or silver jewelry, furniture, leather goods, household items such as tea-ware, and Hookah pipes!
