Hey guys! Thanks for all that are visiting and watching my Youtube Channel, much appreciated. Well as promised to my RR viewers, below are older images of the Rattpesnake Rodge before any fissures were found. I couldn't find a date on the Google image but isn't this amazing?! Tomorrow, I will post an aerial image taken in earlier years to show what the the ridge was like before it was "touched". Again, remember...no reports have shown "who or what" is blamed for the massive failure of this ridge but hopefully we can Be Updated and informed as to Why this failure took place. Same Google image but where the fissures and stress fractured are located now.

Last week my Zeus turned 1 years old, Yay! I knew I wanted to give him a delicious treat and set out to look for a huge cookie or some big treat. I visited pet stores and local pet shop but found nothing worth a Birthday Cake! Then one of my viewers on my youtube suggested I make him a Carrot Cake. I thought, that is a great idea but I had one situation...I don't give Zeus any grains.
So what did I know that he loves and I can give him? Well, I knew he loved ice cream, apples, carrots, and Peanut Butter, so I took it to the internet and found a few recipes. I found a great recipe that seemed easy and with only Carrot and Peanut Butter! Easy. Let me tell you it was a HUGE hit with both Zeus and Brutus! Just when I started preparing the filling with the carrot pulp and the flax, oh my, he was near the counter top waiting for something to fall, haha! And, then while it baked and I prepped the pb & coconut oil, they were very close to me. The recipe asks for carrot pulp so luckily I have a juicer that I can easily make myself some carrot (beet juice) for later. That's what I did, I juiced the carrots first and separated the pulp. Then followed the rest of the recipe. I did want to make cute topping and used some cut out hearts from an apple, see pictures! You will also see that I made two cakes, regular round shape for Zeus and a bone shaped cake for Brutus. It was easy to mold any shape you would like, just be careful when you transfer from pan/baking sheet to serving plate. I also let the cakes cool down before decorating and before serving. I would also like to say, Thank you to Amy at From the Ground Up Wellness for this easy recipe. Here are some pictures to show how much they enjoyed it and you can also visit my Youtube Channel to see a full video of them waiting, then eating this tasty birthday cake! You will also see the recipe below with a little twist on the toppings (also these are bigger dogs, so I doubled the recipe).

Hi y'all, as the title states I wanted to share a post that I received yesterday. A viewer had to place a rude comment on one of my videos; he ranted that I should "Find a real job" and "Get Out of the Video Business". Then he erases the comment "Find a Real Job"...he must have realized that I work full time and this is a hobby. What he didn't realize is that this hobby is monetized and I am getting a little payment. At first, this comment did hurt my feelings but then remembered all the Positive comments that I continue to receive! Then my mindset changes and I tell myself that this viewer is not going to hinder my love of creating and sharing.
Yes, I am not a professional video creator but I really enjoy making them as do the majority of viewers. I mean, yes I can work on it some more and buy some Photoshop, but that will happen in due time. Those rude comments actually motivate me to work harder...it's a "Challenge Accepted" attitude that grabs me and BAM, more ideas come to mind! So, no matter, keep them coming if you insist on writing...I can handle it! Xoxo, Cindy Here is a screenshot of that rude comment. Well today I decided I wanted to share the Pasco Flea Market with y'all. Its a Saturday and Sunday market full of the mexican culture and foods. It gets packed every weekend. So, from Yakima we drove on the old highway 22 from Toppenish to Prosser https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_State_Route_22 which offers a scenic drive. Here I saw an old landslide that happens years ago, check out the images below.
I love going to local events that provide the feels, the smells, amd sounds of the people around us. On my posted video, you will see the beautiful people serving up l their delicious treats and eats. Every try corn on the cob (or cup) with chile, lime, mayonaaise, and cheese? Oh my, if you haven't yet, please try it from an authentic cook. These treats are soo yummy. How about a mangonada? That's a cup or drink of diced mango with ice (or slushy) drizzled with hot chile spices, sweet tarte tamarind with salt and sprtized with lime. You can also find fresh cooked street tacos or sweet desserts of churros covered in sugar, or a funnel cake...yummy. So come by and check out my yotube for full video and pics from this Sunday trip! |
